SafaraCare — a Freedom Protocol service

Care & trust

Care that travels with you.

Preparation begins with doctor-led screening in Ghana, and Freedom Protocol's clinical team stays involved in your preparation and your aftercare. Treatment itself is provided by independent hospitals and clinicians.

What you can expect from us

How we select hospitals

Hospitals are considered on factors such as accreditation, specialist expertise, clinical capability, patient safety standards, communication, and willingness to coordinate clinical handover and follow-up. We do not publish hospital names or logos; the options relevant to you are discussed during your consultation.

Clinical decision-making

Whether treatment is appropriate is a clinical decision made by qualified doctors. SafaraCare coordinates the journey; it does not diagnose, prescribe or decide suitability, and it does not provide the treatment itself.

Patient consent

Nothing is shared without your consent. We explain what would be shared, with whom and why before any medical information moves, and you can stop at any point.

Medical information & privacy

Reports are shared only with the clinicians involved in your care. Please do not send any medical reports until a care coordinator has explained how your information is handled. This website itself collects no personal or medical information.

Continuity after treatment

Your treatment information is handed back into follow-up care at home, so recovery monitoring, rehabilitation and ongoing support can continue with clinicians here where appropriate.

Emergency limitations

SafaraCare does not provide emergency care and does not arrange emergency or critical-care transfers. In an emergency, go to your nearest hospital or call emergency services.

Common questions

Common questions

  • We begin with doctor-led screening and a records review at home, coordinate hospital options and treatment planning, stay involved while you are treated abroad, and hand your care back into follow-up at home when you return.

One connected circle of care

Specialist doctors, connected through Freedom Protocol.

SafaraCare is a Freedom Protocol service. Access to specialist doctors is connected through our parent company, Freedom Protocol, together with its affiliate hospitals and clinics — while SafaraCare coordinates every step of the journey around them.
